Yin Yoga

Join us for an hour of yin yoga. We will focus on targeting the deep connective tissue like your fascia, ligaments, joints, and bones. It is a slower and more meditative class which will give you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body. In yin yoga we hold poses for a longer period of time to help stretch and lengthen the rarely-used tissues. This class is for everyone from beginners to experienced. 

Refunds for classes- Due to the very limited class sizes, we we will only refund classes within 24hours of the class booked. Please be sure to contact us immediately so we may have the opportunity to allow another student to practice with us. If contacted after the 24hour mark, you will not be refunded.

About the Teacher-  Carrie Head

Yoga has been a part of my life for 10 years, and my practice has helped me grow stronger, more flexible and fearless, both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires me to live each moment more mindfully.

In my classes, I love to combine creative sequencing, a spirit of playfulness and a dose of inspiration to help you deepen your practice. I seek to help others thrive in life by nurturing body, mind and soul with yoga, and my hope is that you step off the mat feeling refreshed, nourished and balanced.

Off the mat, I am a wife, mother and elementary teacher.  I enjoy swimming, paddle boarding, gardening and hanging out with my labrador retriever, Cabo. I have been coming to my cottage in the Rosseau area for 15 years and recently my husband and I have decided to relocate to enjoy the peacefulness of northern living.
